Final Christmas Celebration

We are just cleaning up from our final Christmas celebration. And all before Martin Luther King Jr. Day....not bad in my book!
Fred and Bonnie were able to re-schedule and come up this past weekend as our original Christmas plans were scrapped by the snow. We had a really nice weekend.
One of our gifts (from both grandparents.....guess I was laying the hints on a little thick!) was a family membership to the Minnesota Zoo. So now we are members for TWO years! How great is that? We are so excited as the zoo is only 5 miles from our house. We brought Grandpa and Grandma on Saturday. Naia, as usual, loved watching the fish. She tries really hard to touch them---and lucky for those fish, there is glass between the two.

Naia got lots more practice opening up presents. She has even learned how to crawl up on the boxes. We were glad that the one box she demolished doing this held nothing breakable!!

So now our celebrating is done, I guess the decorations need to come down. That's the part I hate the most.....why is it so exciting to take them out, but such a chore to put them away?!?!
