We've been doing lots around the house to get ready for new baby. Well - we've been TRYING to do lots. Mostly falls on Jeff's shoulders while I try to keep Naia out of trouble. We found out that Home Depot not only gives out aprons on Saturday mornings (see Naia in the 3rd pic) but also projects - so she and Daddy made a wooden sailboat that has taken a maiden voyage in her bathtub.
This past weekend was reserved for lots of fun. We got to see plenty of old friends and colleagues at the Maciej's annual shrimp boil. Scott Maciej was in Italy with us and Lexi and their twin daughters came to visit while we were there. It was great to catch up with them and also to see everyone else. And then on Sunday, Accenture hosted us at the Twins game. It was Naia's second game in the new ballpark. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. The pictures have been posted for a reason though. As most of you know, Naia is QUITE the Daddy's girl. She has a hard time letting him out of her sight once he comes home. So to see her sitting so contentedly on his lap is not out of the ordinary. However, as you can see in the next picture when she's on my lap - there is a HUGE TV at the stadium that she was absolutely entranced with and I believe that elicited the biggest smiles - not just sitting on Jeff's lap.....:)
