I think Fin would agree that the birthday cake was excellent-- (thank goodness Byerly's does free ones for the first birthdays!). Fin decided he likes both frosting and cake. Naia, on the other hand, has decided the cake is merely the carrier of the frosting. She requested that I "share" my piece with her after she finished all the frosting off her cake. (And the apple doesn't fall far from the tree no???)

Here's a before shot....
We started celebrating Finner's birthday on Friday. We had a photo shoot in the morning (a birthday gift to Fin from Aunties and Uncles and Papa and Yaya) and then went to the Children's Museum. Jeff took the day off so we could enjoy the museum without the typical "weekend" crowds. Both kids had a great time.
Today was lots of good family time at home. How can it be that Fin is already one??! Yay for first birthdays!!!
