When we were at Uncle Matty's house - he took us out for a spin around the lake behind his house in the paddle boat -- Naia wasn't so sure she liked it for the first 20 minutes - but eventually calmed down enough to take a nice nap.
We had some friends over for a party last night. It was a great excuse to get together. One of my college friends (Jami) is leaving next week for Sweden until December so it was a good chance to wish her well on her travels. And another friend from college (Meghan) was in town for a wedding with her daughter Danielle. Naia and Danielle are only 9 days apart in age so it was their first chance to meet! Naia really liked Danielle - as you can see from the pictures, they are pretty good sharers. :) Naia is pretty lucky that she has a best friend that lives in Florida!! The first picture is of Hallie (my friend from college Katie's youngest). She is almost exactly a year older than Naia so we love it when she comes to visit -- it gives us a chance to see what we should be expecting in a year and we're so excited! If Naia is half as sweet and loving as Hallie, we are in for a real treat! I suppose it helps that Hallie's big brother Gavy is adorable too. He had his pick of the ladies last night!!!!
