Papa's 60th Birthday

We had a great weekend -- our last one at the lake for the season. But this time - we didn't stay on the boat as the crane came to take it out of the water. Our dear friends, Jon, Sheena and Dougal-dog, let us stay at their condo at Horseshoe Bay while they are in Scotland. The pictures go backwards - because everyone already knows what Naia's "Sunday" outfit is.....




We enjoyed Skyping with Megan and Zach so they could see Dad open his birthday present -- a trip to Belize! We are excited to go sailing for a week off the coast of Belize on Feb. 13th thru Feb 20th. Naia even had to get her passport! Pretty exciting stuff.

Miss Naia also discovered leaves this weekend. They are crunchy, make fun noises, and are easy to hold onto. Plus there are lots of them. Doesn't get much better than that!






And finally - Naia started eating some "real" food this past week. She started with some rice cereal (unfortunately, you can see how well she likes that!) and this weekend she got a little banana. But - she must take after her mother as she didn't really like the banana very well. We'll keep trying.....:)
